As a security tool, Security Task Manager provides numerous tools including: displaying currently active tasks with file paths and security risk ratings, CPU usage monitoring, quarantine of potentially dangerous malware, spyware, keylogger software or Trojan viruses, and inclusion of a Protector tool to erase recent computer activity. Additional Protection features will also block tracking of keyboard and mouse activity on your computer. If, at any time, Autostart keys in the Registry are edited or modified, the software will notify the user to take action. When the process is identified as a potential security threat, the user can choose to quarantine the process and delete any Registry entries related to that process.
